Bartellas

A warm welcome and great food at this modern restaurant set in the outskirts of Hildenborough.

We met with our friends and their 3 year old daughter for lunch and were welcomed into Bartellas with the offer of a drink and seat in their relaxing bar area. After a short time chatting we were then offered the menu and told the special of the day.

We each chose a different main which consisted of Pork Belly with apple cinnamon mash, Grilled Sardines, Crayfish Risotto, and Margarita Pizza and were lead to our table shortly after.

We had a about a 10 minute wait for the food which was very well presented. The food was great and for the prices very good value for money. I love pork belly and although it was not the best port belly I have ever had it was still very good with great tasting mash and sauce. The Pizzas were good with homemade bases and the sardines and risotto were enjoyed by our friends.

Two of us went for dessert with a Chocolate Pistachio Brownie and Kiwi Pannacota being ordered. Both were very good and well presented.

So would we go again?

I'll be honest and mention that we have been here a few times in the past. They are very consistent with the quality of service and food so we would definitely go again.
